Our Path Traveled
Getting kids off the couch, away from screens, and into the seat. Over the years we have seen firsthand the benefits of our community bike park. Gators Bike Park has hosted multiple community bike events, countless visiting families, a multitude of first-time pedalers, and the endless smiles of kids. We take pride in introducing kids to the lifetime sport of biking and trail riding.
Our Path Forward
Many folks would justifiably be satisfied with this success. Not us! Our third and final phase will put the finishing touches on a well rounded bike park by placing a state-of-the-art modular pumptrack in the middle of the north suburbs of Columbus, complete with kiosks, signage, a pavilion and a pumptrack drop deck. Being placed so close to a host of neighborhoods and apartments, DrewsTrak answers the need to put trails within easy access to kids and families.
Phase 3: DrewsTrak Memorial Pumptrack and More
The pump track will serve as a memorial to Dave Andrews, a wonderful community member known for his volunteerism, years of youth coaching, and infectious smile. Dave seemed to be in his element when surrounded by kids being active and working towards improving their skills. The addition to Gators Bike Park is sure to create a huge draw for families to gather together, stay active, and continue to build skills, which would make Dave proud!
